The Workshop " Taller de entrenamiento en la implementación de las directrices del IPCC de 2006 y el software del IPCC para la elaboración del INGEI de Ecuador " was supported by the Global Support Programme and the RedINGEI, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Environment from Ecuador. The workshop was attended by sectoral technicians in charge of the preparation of the Nationally Determined Contributions(NDCs) and the sectoral technicians for the elaboration of the National GHG Inventory.
The objective of the Workshop was to strengthen the technical capacities for the elaboration of the National GHG Inventory of Ecuador for the year 2014 and the updates of the period 1990-2014 using the 2006 IPCC Guidelines. Also to ensure the development and regular reporting of the inventories and practical training on the IPCC software.
The following presentations (2-13) are authored by the Technical Support Unit of the IPCC, the GSP has translated them into Spanish and used them as training material.
